Century Artists Management Agency (Paul E. Horton) engages in strategic brand management for a select group of new and accomplished popular Artists in music, television, film and the performing arts.
Carter M. Inskeep (writer/director) was a founding member of The Phoenix Ensemble and became it’s first Artistic Director, presenting twelve new American Plays over a period of six years. He left the Ensemble to create new works for the groundbreaking People With Aids Theatre Workshop collaborating with award winning playwright Lanie Robertson (LADY DAY AT EMERSON’S BAR AND GRILL) to create AIDS ALIVE, a seminal effort in the empowerment of people with AIDS through drama therapy. That work garnered OBIE, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations, as well as a Mayor Dinkin’s Public Service Citation and a MAC award. Carter garnered both a MAC and BackStage Bistro Award in collaboration with Rainie Cole as co-writer and director of ALWAYS…PATSY CLINE. He directed the new musical TOTIE in NY Atlantic City’s TropWorld Hotel and at Seven Angels Theatre in Connecticut.
Tedd Firth (musical director and arranger for THE HEAT IS ON) is a New York City based accompanist, jazz pianist and arranger. As an accompanist he has worked with Tom Wopat, Lee Ann Womack, Faith Prince, Linda Lavin, Darius DeHaas, Karen Akers, Rob Evan, Mary Cleere Haran, Margaret Whiting, Carol Sloane, Bob Stewart, Marlene VerPlanck, Nancy Marano, Barbara Brussell, K.T. Sullivan, Claiborne Cary, Craig Rubano and many others. Among the jazz musicians he has performed or recorded with are John Pizzarelli, Houston Person, Frank Wess, Mark Whitfield, Red Holloway, Benny Golson and Joe Morello. New York appearances include Carnegie Hall, the Blue Note, Birdland, the Iridium, the Algonquin, the Cafe Carlyle, Feinstein's at the Regency, the Rainbow Room, Town Hall, the Russian Tea Room and Gracie Mansion. Numerous national appearances include a performance at the White House. As an arranger/orchestrator, Tedd's work has been performed by Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, the Ocean City (NJ) Pops, the Stamford (CT) Symphony and the Spokane Jazz Orchestra. Television appearances include "The Today Show", "All My Children" and "The Caroline Rhea Show".
Bob McDowell (original arrangements) wrote orchestrations and additional material for the Off Broadway hit, SWINGTIME CANTEEN starring Alison Fraser and Charles Busch. His original musical KANSAS is in development with producer Bill Reppicci. Regionally Bob has been musical director and conductor for such shows as SWEENY TODD, A CHORUS LINE, GYPSY, TOMMY, MAME and many others. His original compositions can be found on Quinn’s CD, DANCE OR DIE!
Michael Louis (choreographer/costumes) choreographed BORN TO RUMBA! at the Duo Theatre in NYC. As a costume designer: Laura Branigan, "Love Janis. Wardrobe Supervisor for Broadway's "Urinetown" and "Brooklyn the Musical", Off Broadway "High Infidelity" with Morgan Fairchild and John Davidson, "The Persians" with Tony Randall, Len Cariou, "Paper Doll" with Dixie Carter, "My Old Lady with Jan Maxwell", "I Love You, You're Perfect, now Change", "The Mystery of Irma Vep" and as Star Dresser for Tony Randall, Charles Durning, Billy Crudup, Dixie Carter, Chaz Palmintieri, and Tom Hewitt. As Choreographer he has worked with Raul Julia, Natalia Makarova, as well as many Regional and Off Broadway productions. Currently on the National Tour with Tommy Tune as Dr. Dolittle.
